To become a Prayer Pastor, you must be a minimum of 18 years old and committed to a local church.
We’ll provide training for the work and an opportunity to see for yourself what our teams see, hear and do while they are volunteering.
Prayer Pastors are a vital support to the work of Glasgow Street Pastors and we aim to have 1 or 2 supporting every team while it is on duty. Prayer Pastors receive text messages during the night from the teams about difficult situations they encounter.
We are looking for Prayer Pastors to commit to one night per month to pray for a team between 10:00pm and 4:00am. This can be done from home or at the base and carries no cost implication other than your time. We will also connect you with other Prayer Pastors and invite you to our gatherings (1 or 2 a year). Prayer Pastors are very much part of the team!
